Orange Buttermilk Drink with Cinnamon
Oranges and cinnamon is a perfect combination, especially for winter times.
For this orange buttermilk drink with cinnamon, you just have to peel your orange and blend it with all other ingredients in a blender. The easiest way to peel it is if you cut away the top end of the orange, then you can place it on this side down on a cutting board. Now, cut away the skin of the orange with a knife, but just the very outside of the skin and not the white part. This part does contain a lot of vitamins and it would be a pity to lose these vitamins in your drink.
Orange Buttermilk Drink with Cinnamon - 1 Person - 10 Minutes
- 2 oranges
- 200ml buttermilk
- 1 date
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon powder
- 0.25 tsp nutmeg powder
- Peel the orange.
- Take out the stone of the date and cut it very thin.
- Add the orange and date with all other ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
*Aline's Suggestion: Top your smoothie with some cinnamon powder. It looks better and the first sips do taste so cinnamon-intensive.
